Set in contemporary Dublin, this is a timeless urban tale about Clocker and Sanga, two young street kids whose innocence is starkly contrasted by the harsh environment in which they both live. Over the course of a day and in their interactions with various characters in central city locations Clocker and Sanga learn much about each other and themselves as the start of their friendship develops.
Featuring a young Robert Sheehan in his debut leading role, A Dublin Story was shortlisted for Academy Award Nomination in 2004 and won a number of awards on the festival circuit, including the Light in Motion Best Irish Short Award at the Foyle International Film Festival, the Kodak Tiernan McBride Award at The Galway Film Fleadh and a Remi Bronze Award for Best Dramatic Original Short at WorldFest, Houston.
